Community Association Manager – Veteran Jobs

ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals in Bethany Beach is now hiring for a Home Owner’s Association Manager.  This position will supervise and implement the rules and regulations of the associations. Job duties include:


  • General property operations to include knowledge of all building main systems
  • Knowledge and retention of the governing documents for the property/phase
  • Assist in supervising/implementing the rules and regulations of each property/phase
  • Ability to evaluate and maintain/update database on current contracts, noting dates of expiration, costs and insurance certificates
  • Schedule preventative maintenance accordingly with contracts and/or state or federal requirements to ensure compliance and maintain inventory records
  • Acquire competitive bids from external resources
  • Monitor/assist maintenance staff with daily activities to improve work flow and/or organization
  • Perform daily property inspections and create a spreadsheet indicating areas needing attention or of concern to address with Association Manager weekly
  • Respond and follow through with requests from owner/council or board member for information and communicate with minimal supervision
  • Assist with meeting preparations for each property, which includes meeting agendas, council/board packages, assure timely meeting notices are sent to that particular ownership and posted, and assist with any and all assist with any related social activities, attend all council/board meeting and skilled at note-taking for composing meeting minutes
  • Maintain website with accurate/timely information
  • Development of the annual operating budget to ensure financial expectations of the property. Ability to understand financial statements, audits, reserve studies
  • Weekend and on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies required.
