Job Description

Oxford Government Consulting is seeking general clerks to support a document conversion project. This project involves the scanning, indexing, data extraction, and transmission of images and data via secure web connection. General clerks are required to support various document processing steps, including, but not limited to, preparing documents for scanning, scanning documents, reviewing the optical character recognition process for accuracy, and performing data entry. General clerks operate scanning and data entry devices to support the indexing and electronic capture of paper-based claim documents into electronic format. General clerks perform a variety of document conversion tasks and work under the general supervision of a supervisor.

Second Shift Position

  • Approximate shift schedule: 3:30 PM–1:00 AM, Monday–Friday
  • May be required to work overtime and/or on weekends

Hourly Rate

  • $13.43 per hour + $4.13 for health and welfare

Experience/Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0–2 years of experience in the field or related area
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the document management field
  • High key strokes per hour
  • Strong computer skills
  • Capability of frequently lifting 35-pound boxes
  • Must work well with coworkers and managers
  • Must be able to monitor email account daily
  • Must be able to work at computers for long periods of time
  • Must be able to stand, walk, complete simple hand grasps, reach with hands and arms, sit, talk, and hear
  • Repetitive motion is required

Background Investigation Required

All positions require a minimum of a NACI, including fingerprinting. Staff may not start work until the agency security office has provided approval to access contract documents. Security paperwork and fingerprinting will be required and coordinated as part of the hiring process.
