Summary Description

The Operations Supervisor-Ambulatory oversee driver’s performance, duties and responsibilities. This individual would assist or manage the day-to-day fleet operations of their assigned Division. This includes all aspects, but not limited to drivers’, operations, training, affiliates/internal performance and assisting Operation Manager with daily operations.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Assist Operations Manager with all aspects of daily Operation, including:

➢ Keep drivers’ training and certifications up to date.

➢ Conduct drivers’ quarterly meetings and Safety meetings.

➢ Conduct New Hires Orientation and keep RTO calendar up to date.

➢ Monitor DMV Pull Notices.

➢ Schedule and oversee Local government licensing and vehicle permits re-certification.

➢ Vehicles safety and maintenance inspections.

➢ Address disciplinary issues.

➢ Conduct / Monitor drivers’ performance evaluations

➢ Frequent and Random field spot checks / Affiliates vehicle and Driver

➢ Conduct Accident / Injury investigations and reporting

➢ Address and resolve drivers’ personnel issues.

➢ Enforcement of Company’s procedures and policies.

➢ Other duties as assigned.<br>➢ Assist Mobile App training

Education & Training

High school graduate or GED

Supervisory training preferred

Class B drivers’ license preferred will train

CPR/First Aid preferred, will train

Must obtain in 60-days: Certified CPR Trainer

Knowledge and Experience

Prior Supervisory experience in any field preferred

Knowledge of basic supervisory principles.

Core Competencies

Must be a self-starter and able to work under minimum supervision.

Must be able to manage multiple tasks, use good judgment to plan and achieve goals.

Must possess good communication skills.

Must be computer literate and proficient with Word, Excel and database management software.

Must have a proactive approach to unforeseen situations.

Working Conditions

Must be able to work weekends, Holidays, and variable shifts, if necessary.

Must be able to travel out of town with overnight when necessary.

Physical Requirements

Be able to push and pull 200 lbs. and lift 100 lbs. minimum.

Be able to sit in from of a computer for prolonged periods.
