This position will have the unique opportunity to take part in strategies that foster retention for diverse Veteran Education students, interpret policies, monitor Veteran Education student benefits, and engage in community partnerships to support the educational needs of students in the program.
This position represents the Veterans’ Education office on campus and in the community, leads and directs the day-to-day operations of the office at the Mount Vernon Campus, and works collaboratively with the Veterans’ office staff across the district. This 12-month, 100% of full-time, exempt position has District-wide responsibilities and requires occasional travel throughout the district, with primary assignment to the Mount Vernon Campus. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Financial Aid. This position works closely with students, faculty and staff to further the College’s mission, vision, and core themes, consistent with the College’s guiding principles.
