DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver or pick up of a variety of items to various locations
- Load and unload any cargo following safe lifting practices
- Ensure that the delivery vehicle and any associated equipment remain clean, tidy, and in good working order
- Communicate regularly with clients or suppliers to ensure accuracy in deliveries and pick-ups
- Adherence to road safety rules and regulations
- Responsible for paperwork associated with deliveries and pick-ups, from receipts to confirmation notices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management such as material handling and support to the logistics department as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Warehouse Driving experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Demonstrate a positive attitude
- Attention to detail to verify the correct items are delivered or picked up from/to the right location
- Time management to ensure deliveries and pick-ups are completed on time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be certified to drive a fork lift
- Ideal candidate will have some basic computer skills and must be able to read and write English
