SpeedyQuick Networks is the Treasure Valley’s premier provider of wireless Internet service. As a result of rapid growth we have an immediate need for new technicians to join our team. Field Technicians work primarily outdoors and independently, you will be responsible for the installation of our internet service, as well as providing technical service, support and training to our customers in their homes or businesses. As an entry level Field Technician for SpeedyQuick Networks you will receive the training required to be successful and no experience is required.
Main areas of responsibility are as follows:
- Perform site surveys for potential customers to evaluate if service can be provided
- Install new and existing customers with Internet service, this includes mounting equipment and running wiring on roof tops to the inside of customer’s homes
- Configure customer routers and devices to access Internet services
- Determine customer problems at service calls to restore service to the customer.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and have a good driving record
- Must be professional at all times in dress, speech and actions
- Dependability is a must
- Must be comfortable at heights
- Must be able to use a ladder in a safe manner
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Must be able to follow procedure and work independently.
- Good customer relation skills are needed for this position.
- Must have excellent time management skills. Ability to be flexible with the schedule and manage changes and adjust throughout the day
- Keep company vehicle stocked and organized on a regular basis
This position is entry level and experience is not necessary.
In order to be considered for this position you must possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
Fields Technicians work 10 hour shifts resulting in 3 days off a week.
Pay starting at 14.00/hr depending on experience
